"Dear Mrs. Dietrick:
Now that I am home and I hope that your whole staff has recovered from too much of me, I would like you to know what a marvelous experience I had at the Elms. I had never been in a facility such as yours, but, of course, I have read all the inspection reports on similar facilities in Monmouth County. I was at the Elms when you underwent the state inspection and I could have told them you were going to pass in advance.
I don't know where to start in my praise of your incredible nurses: Jodi, Bonnie and others come to mind, plus of course, Stan the Man. In the kitchen, Jackie, Evelyn and Esther were always helpful, even when I was a pain in the neck. Of course, Meg is a saint. She enabled me to continue serving the people despite being very ill and institutionalized. I still cannot believe that I was re-elected in June, running my campaign from my room. On my last day, several people, including Dr. Nasra, told me I will never be forgotten at the Ems. I just hope that experience was a as positive for them as it was for me."

"To the Staff at The Elms of Cranbury,
I would like to personally thank you for all the wonderful care my mother (Irene Lang) received during her recent extended rehab at The Elms. You were all wonderful and extremely caring. I would particularly like to extend my thanks to the pavilion second floor nurse Noreen. She has a very professional mannerism that was very much appreciated. She was also very helpful and kind during some very difficult times with my mother. The rehab my mother received with her new leg prosthesis by Liselle was also instrumental in her being able to gain the ability to walk again.
Thanks again for your caring staff."

"Dear Mrs. Dietrick,
Once again The Elms has come to our rescue. When my Mom, Adele Middleberg, was ready to be released from Robert Wood Johnson and needed rehab, there was only one place we wanted her to be and that was The Elms. Although a room was not available the day she was discharged, Mary-Beth worked with us to move her to The Elms a few days later as soon as a bed became available. No one was happier to be back at The Elms than my Mom. She immediately relaxed and began to improve daily.
Over the years we have been very involved with hospitals, rehab centers, nursing homes and assisted living facilities and never have we come across a place quite like The Elms. Special kudos this time around to Lisa who helped us with a roommate problem quickly and compassionately.
Thank you for making The Elms the special place that it is."

"Mrs. Dietrick:
My husband Benjamin Collier stayed at the Elms for 3 weeks in January of 2006. Every Elms employee with whom we came in contact, from the nurses to the dietitians to the physical therapists, made his experience a pleasant one. Your staff ensured his comfort and treated him with respect. Every family member who visited (and enjoyed your delicious food) felt welcome.
Your reputation as a first class treatment facility is well-deserved."

"To the Administrative Staff, Nurses, Aids and Support Staff at The Elms of Cranbury,
We wish to express our sincere THANK YOU for the wonderful care you provided our Mom, Julia Peterla, during these past almost eight years. When we think about the average stay in a nursing home being two years, we begin to understand the impact a wonderful facility such as the Elms has had on our Mom.
During the few times, over the years, when Mom became ill, the medical staff diagnosed her problems and provided the necessary assistance to speed her recovery. During those periods, the nursing and administrative staff kept us informed of her progress. We could not ask for more.
We must remember the activities personnel, who always made things interesting for Mom, by providng some neat stuff to occupy her mind when she was able.
By no means can we forget the Aids and Support Staff who daily fed Mom, maintained her hygiene, changed her bedding and clothing, and altered her position regularly to keep her comfortable and free from irritations. This was not just a clinical walk through routine, but one that gave us the feeling that Mom was receiving loving care. Meals were an especially trying time. The food was great, but found it very frustrating to the point where we couldn't continue. Thank God for the wonderful people who had just the right touch.
We recommend The Elms to anyone wanting to receive the best of care for their loved ones."
