Anita M. Dietrick
Mrs. “D” as she is affectionately called took over operations of The Elms after the untimely death of her husband in 1983. She is always very visible around the facility, speaking with patients about their experience at The Elms or showing off her dog Winston’s dancing ability!
Liana (Dietrick) Reynolds
Liana has been a licensed administrator since 1990 and has managed a number of facilities throughout the State of NJ prior to joining her mom in the expansion and day to day operations of the Elms. Liana is the oldest of the Dietrick girls.
MaryBeth (Dietrick) Suhocki
Mary-Beth works beside her sister Liana in managing day-to-day functions in compliance with state, federal, and local standards. Mary-Beth is the youngest of the four Dietrick girls and in addition to her facility responsibilities, is also currently studying for licensure as a nursing home administrator. You might see her visiting residents or doing rounds with her four children.
Deanna (Dietrick) Evju
Deanna who is the second oldest is responsible for the management of the business office. She has become an expert at navigating through the Medicare and Medicaid system as well as supplementary insurance plans, and would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding your stay at The Elms and the associated costs.
Magdy Nasra, MD
Dr. Nasra is our Medical Director and an attending physician at The Elms. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a certified medical director. But aside from his impressive credentials, he is an outstanding physician with a warm bedside manner who is never too busy to discuss your treatment plan or any concerns you have with you and your loved ones.
Director of Nursing
Our Director of Nursing, Susan has been with us since we opened this building in 2000. She has been an integral part of making The Elms what it is today. Susan runs the nursing department with a sharp mind and a compassionate heart.
Assistant Director of Nursing
Cathy joined our nursing staff in 2009 working throughout the facility on all shifts before being promoted to the Assistant Director of Nursing position. She is responsible for Infection Control and educating the staff. You will see her throughout the facility monitoring day to day activities and conducting in-services for the employees.
Director of Admissions
If you call or visit The Elms, Emma is most likely the one to greet you! She takes care of all the necessary steps to ensure that your transition to us is a smooth one.
Sub-Acute Unit Manager
Allison has been a nurse on staff since 2006. She familiarizes herself with all Sub-Acute Residents and family members to ensure all of their nursing needs are met. Allison always has a smile on her face and you can always find her on the unit or in Residents rooms doing rounds.
Director of Rehabilitation
Michelle is our Director of Rehabilitation and has been with the Elms since 2001. She manages a prestigious in-house therapy department, consisting of skilled Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Services. You will likely find Michelle overseeing resident care in her department or in care conference meetings with residents and family members, discussing progress and the next steps in their plan of care. Michelle and her caring staff are very involved in the residents’ day to day care and will make your transition from the hospital to our sub-acute rehab a wonderful and rewarding experience.
Director of Social Service
Kathryn is responsible for coordinating services for our sub-acute patients – she will be an indispensable resource to you as you prepare for your discharge from The Elms. She provides support and advice to patients and their families and will guide you to the resources you need to return successfully back to your home.
Stacey is our “in house” dietitian. During your stay, she monitors your nutritional status and makes sure that you are eating right. For anyone needing diet education, she is the one to ask.
Director of Culinary Services
Michael is our Dietary Director here at the Elms. He is a valued asset with over 25 years of experience in restaurants and assisted living communities. Please feel free to ask for Michael if you have any concerns about your meals while you are staying with us.
Medical Records Director
Regina is responsible for maintaining our medical records in an orderly fashion. She is also the person you will need to see if you require copies of your medical records for any reason. She won’t be hard to find, though – her cheerful voice and bubbly laugh can be heard long before you see her!
Unit Manager LTC
Janet is a Registered Nurse who brings many years of clinical experience and attention to detail to the Elms. Her main goal is always to meet the needs of our LTC residents and ensure that they are comfortable in their home at The Elms.
Long Term Care Social Worker
Maureen’s role at The Elms is slightly different than Kathryn’s. She builds relationships with residents and their families and gets to know them on a much more personal level, providing help and support with the psychosocial issues that they may experience in making the decision for long term care. She also coordinates regular Family Council meetings and support groups to enable you to discuss issues, meet and get to know other families of The Elms.
Audrey is our new Recreation Director. She comes to us with many years of long term care experience, and is enthusiastic about joining the team of healthcare professionals at the Elms. She’s looking forward to introducing some new and exciting activities to the residents while maintaining some long-loved traditions.
